If Satou was just a bit abnormal then Saiki would lose all interest of him as seen with his introduction episode in which Saiki panics about Satou doing something abnormal (which later not being the case since Satou is the most normal person to ever normal, like anime protagonist normal).

It just means you may feel very little to none or to a specific person. It could also just be romantic and not sexual. You could be attracted to someone aesthetically. Saiki is shown to be obsessed with Satou because he admires and wants to be just like him. We don't really see Saiki wanting it to be romantic or sexual.
Even if Aiura does start off from a prophecy, it's good that they actually developed a mutual understanding. Aiura does seem to like Saiki for himself. For chapter 161.5, it can be best explained that it's his most worthwhile use of his time, to study Teruhashi, and to get a drink from it, which was his other motivation, he likes food.
